Preamble:
In this fourteenth lesson you will continue to consider 'The Knowledge of God the Redeemer,' which is book two of 'The Institutes of the Christian Religion.' For this lesson you will be required to read through chapter 4 of book two. The best approach is to read these chapters first, and then to read them again with the questions before you.
14.1 HOW GOD WORKS IN MEN'S HEARTS:
Questions:
Explain the part that Satan plays in the lives of wicked men?
Does the role of Satan make men mere robots in the practice of godlessness? Explain.
If God is not the author of evil, what part does He play in the wickedness of men?
Explain the Biblical doctrine of free will - is there such a thing?
